Welcome to One & Only Maids. By booking a service or using our website, you agree to the terms below.


1. Services

One & Only Maids provides residential cleaning services.
All bookings made through our website are service requests and are subject to availability and confirmation.


2. Bookings & Payments

  • Payment is charged after the service is completed, unless stated otherwise
  • You agree to provide accurate billing and contact information
  • Prices are based on the details you provide (size, condition, extras, etc.)

If the actual condition of the home differs significantly, we may:

  • Adjust the price
  • Adjust the scope of work
  • Or reschedule the service

3. Cancellations & Rescheduling

We require at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule.

  • Late cancellations (under 24 hours) may be subject to a $50 cancellation fee
  • If our team cannot access the property at the scheduled time, a lockout fee may apply

4. Access to Property

You are responsible for ensuring our team can access the property at the scheduled time.

This may include:

  • Providing keys, codes, or instructions
  • Ensuring pets are secured

If we cannot enter, the appointment may be canceled and fees may apply.


5. Condition of the Home

We expect homes to be in reasonable condition for cleaning.

We do not handle:

  • Hazardous materials
  • Biohazards
  • Pest infestations
  • Excessive clutter or unsafe environments

If we arrive and conditions are unsafe or outside scope, we may refuse service.


6. Satisfaction Guarantee

If you are not satisfied, please contact us within 24 hours of your cleaning.

We will:

  • Review the issue
  • Offer a re-clean if appropriate

Refunds are not guaranteed and are handled case by case.


7. Damages & Liability

We take care when cleaning your home. However:

  • Any damages must be reported within 24 hours
  • We are not responsible for:
    • Pre-existing damage
    • Normal wear and tear
    • Items not secured properly

Our liability is limited to the value of the service provided.


8. Items of Value

Please secure or store valuable or fragile items before your appointment.

We are not responsible for:

  • Cash
  • Jewelry
  • Sentimental or irreplaceable items

9. Pets

Pets must be secured or controlled during the cleaning.

We are not responsible for:

  • Escaped pets
  • Injuries caused by pets

10. Website Use

By using our website, you agree not to:

  • Misuse or attempt to disrupt the site
  • Provide false information
  • Attempt unauthorized access

11. Privacy

Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy.


12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Quebec, Canada.
